Thanks to some funding enhancement from the Provost's office, Classroom Support (CTSS) is now able to provide faculty with 2 of the new XR model clickers for the purpose of using clickers for teaching. These units will become the property of the individual faculty member and are their responsibility including the maintenance of batteries.
These can be sent to faculty via campus mail or they can stop by the CTSS office in Nelson Smith to pick them up.
In order to qualify for the 2 free clickers, you must indicate that a clicker is required for your course (this is done at the same time as indicating required textbooks). This also has the benefit of showing students enrolling for the course that a clicker is required and will allow them to register their clicker number in the icampus portal.
This process may differ between departments. Please check with your administrative assistants to verify this process.
